Commission a portrait of your beloved pet or create a lasting memory. These portraits are hand drawn and painted by pet portrait artist Matt Lloyd (MJLArt) and make the most thoughtful gift for the special people in your life or an incredible lasting memory, whether it’s a headshot or a full commission we can accommodate all requests.

How do you commission a drawing or painting?

If you would like to commission an acrylic painting or pencil drawing of a pet or favourite animal then all you need to do is follow the 6 steps below:

1. Fill in the contact form at the bottom of this page and I will be in touch to discuss your no obligation artwork options

2. Choose your favourite picture(s) and send me a clear, high resolution photograph to info@MJLArt.co.uk. It is important to have a good quality photograph so that I am able to see the detail in the subject and achieve the best results for you.

3. Once we have agreed what you would like, a 20% deposit is required to book in your commission which is payable securely online by PayPal, Apple Pay, credit /debit card or bank transfer.

4. Your artwork would normally be completed within 2-3 weeks from agreed start date. On completion of the artwork,  I will email you a proof photograph, once you are completely happy with the final work, then the outstanding payment balance can be made

5. The final payment can be made securely online by PayPal, Apple Pay, credit /debit card, bank transfer or spread over 4 monthly instalments

6. On receipt of the final payment or initial instalment I will securely dispatch your artwork. All UK and international postage is included within the price, so no additional cost.

   NOTE: If you are unsure of which photos would be best then I am more than happy to assist you in choosing the best image for the artwork, if you would like to send me a selection of photographs then that’s absolutely fine. If you would like more than one animal on the artwork then I do not need them on the same photo as I know how hard it is to get a picture of one animal never mind trying to get more than one together.
